Established in 2015, we've been fostering computing excellence for over a decade
SVCE ACM Student Chapter was set up by students of CSE department under the guidance of ACM Student Chapter faculty coordinator. It was officially chartered by ACM New York on 26th August 2011. A team of 26 enthusiastic students from the Department took the initiative to set up this chapter.
Our chapter aims to provide an opportunity for students from different walks of life to compete and tackle problems in an effective manner. As one of the well-known institutions inside the college, we aim to bolster student skills from both a professional and personal point of view.
Empowering women in computing and fostering inclusive technology communities
ACM-W SVCE is the student chapter of the ACM-W (Association for Computing Machinery – Women in Computing) at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering. The chapter was started with the vision of creating a supportive space for women in computing, while also encouraging collaboration and learning for all students interested in technology.
At SVCE, ACM-W organizes a variety of activities such as technical workshops, talks & panel discussions, and networking & mentorship opportunities. The chapter's mission is not only to empower women in computing but also to contribute to the broader SVCE tech community.
By combining technical growth with mentorship, ACM-W SVCE ensures that students are better prepared for both academic and professional challenges, creating an environment where everyone can thrive in the field of computing.

As we set foot into our successful journey, we aim to maintain the high standards set by our predecessors by organizing events intertwined with fun and frolic. Our wide variety of events boosts both 'competing by learning' as well as 'learning by competing'!
